The new extra-strong baitcasting reel from Japan! With the Steez A II TW, DAIWA introduces a new "Made in Japan" baitcasting reel that is especially designed for high loads and large lures. This reel can also be applied at saltwater fishing and is applicable for lure weights from 7g on up to 50g. One Magsealed and 9 CRBB ball bearings together with the washable design lead to high durability and a long lifespan also under the harsh conditions of sea fishing. The Hyperdrive Design represents the combination of a distortion-proof Hyper Armed housing with a Hyperdrive Digigear with extra-large teeth at the driving wheel, leading to optimal retrieving power and extraordinary durability. The special Hyper Tough Clutch is designed to support reliable casting – unintended shifts of the clutch are prevented also during powerful casts. The Hyper Double Support at the Pinion gear features ball bearings at both sides of the spool, leading to a better housing and power transmission from the handle to the drive unit. The Zero Adjuster of the mechanic drag is preset in a way that leads to optimal casting distances (it is recommended NOT to change this setting). The drag mechanism is waterproof – the entire reel can be cleaned under running lukewarm water without problems.
