The BG Deep Sea rod 11928-175 has a somewhat stiffer blank and thus perfectly matches with fishing in great depth with lures and pirks – ideal for cod, pollack and halibut. To mount also very heavy multiplier reels securely, the Deep Sea versions have been equipped with a DPS-H reel seat and safety screw.
